Custom Built SCR Chargers
The M+H SCR Battery Charger range are constant voltage systems designed to supply mission critical loads, and maintain battery banks in a fully charged and ready condition.
APPLICATIONS
Built around proven SCR technology, these chargers have wide application in a range of installations and a strong track record in extreme environments.
SCR Battery Chargers may be used to:
* charge lead acid batteries of any technology, including Gel and AGM types and keep them fully charged.
* charge Nickel Cadmium batteries (plate and fibre technology types).
* recharge battery systems after discharge and also provide power for the standing load and;
* provide short-duration high power outputs for switch tripping applications and still provide power for the standing load.
SCR Battery Chargers can be used in emergency lighting systems, standby power for critical loads, communications, switch tripping, engine-start systems, petrochemical and mining installations.
ENCLOSURES
The standard charger comes in an 1P21 housing, powder coated "APO Grey" in a stand alone floor mount enclosure. Systems can be designed to accommodate the battery banks within the charger enclosure or a separate compartment. Wall mount options and various degrees of "IP" rating are available on request.
Various colour finishes are also available.
