In the first month the system saved the station $3,000 in generator fuel.
The new power station comprises 120 X 250W high efficiency polycrystalline Suntech solar modules feeding a 3440 A/hr battery pack through to three Selectronic SPMC1201 generator interactive inverters.

The has SP LINK data and configuration software. This software enables access to 18 months of historical data and the provision to alter system parameters remotely.
