Product Description
The PD230 is a voltage proving device, providing an alternative AC voltage source, to test the function of voltage measuring instruments such as voltage testers and digital multimeter with a high input impedance. An inverter, powered by a 9V battery provides an AC voltage source. A portable voltage source is useful when no other voltage source is available when testing a voltage measuring instrument by taking a reading before and after an actual test, thus ensuring that the instrument was functioning before and after when proving that an electrical conductor is “dead”.
